The day to day management of the Club is delegated to a committee consisting of the Chairman, the Treasurer, Club Secretary, Club Captain, Membership Secretary, Facilities Manager, and Mid-Week Members Representative
The Management Committee meet at least six times in the ensuing year to examine the accounts, arrange the affairs of the Club and plan the ongoing development of the club’s facilities. Minutes of the AGM and committee meetings can be viewed on the Club Notices & Documents page.
Reporting to the main committee are several sub-committees including the tennis committee, the social commitee, and the ground development committee.
The tennis committee selects the squads to play league tennis against other clubs, organises the club championships and other internal competitions and has overall responsibility for tennis at the club. The tennis committee consists of Club Captain, Mens Captain, Ladies Captain, Head Coach, Membership Secretary and Fixture Secretary.
The social committee plans and organises the club’s social events.
The ground development committee plans and organises the repairs and general maintenance necessary to keep the tennis club facilities in good condition. The ground development committee organises working parties to tackle some of the many ongoing jobs throughout the year and are always looking for volunteers to help with these essential jobs.
